Bird on the Wire

Commuting by rail from Glasgow to Edinburgh on a Tuesday morning normally offers an uneventful fifty minutes to catch up on some work or read through the morning papers.

This morning, as the train approached the outskirts of the Capital, I noticed a plane in rapid descent on its final approach to Edinburgh Airport. In hope, more than expectation, I reached for my phone and managed to capture the aircraft (almost) neatly framed by the overhead wires.
