Scenes From An Execution

Evening at the National Theatre to see the fantastic Fiona Shaw in Scenes From an Execution.

Filling in for a friend who wasn't able to accompany his lovely wife - I'll always jump at the chance to see a show, theatre, music, exhibition, anything really.

It's a great play about a feisty and principled female artist in the 1600's who is commissioned to depict the Battle of Lepanto. Won't spoil it for anyone who may see it, but suffice to say I would recommend. Great performances and a wonderful part for a female lead.
