Announcing autumn!

Bang on the equinox, this tree in my garden rapidly turned a brilliant red. With rudbeckia and sedums flowering below, it has become a temporary focal point in the garden. Crab apples are also colouring up nicely and the extra photo shows my new 'entomology shed' framed by one of crab trees.

I'm not able to post or view very frequently at the moment - apologies to those of you who are much more regular and attentive.
