Memorial

Today I had lunch with fellow blipper BigE. It was great to finally catch up with Ed and have a decent chat. We plan to do it again in Albuquerque, same time next year. You can check out his great photos here.

This afternoon I took a long walk along the bike track that runs parallel with the Rio Grande River, from where I am staying, down to the Interstate 40. On the way I passed this very moving bike memorial and tribute to a 58 year old guy who passed away on this bike, at this spot.

It was good to see that people had respected this memorial and not messed with it in any way. I have never seen anything quite like this before.
