A really fantastic visit to silk weavers museum

Lyon is the home of the Jackard loom and was the home of the European silk weaving trade from way back.

Whilst visiting the weavers house museum (Maison de Canuts) I was very, very lucky. After the rest of the tour had gone the guide let me weave a little on one of the antique looms. So honoured. Takes about a month to get the warp set up! Hope I didn't mess it up. He was very kind.

p.s. Didn't realise the hight we had to climb to get there!
