Man Booker

I have working through the short list of my annual quest with friends to read and then debate the relative merits of each on the night of the announcement. We nearly always get it wrong.

I have nearly read 4 but have the two longest, the George Saunders and the ridiculously long Paul Auster 4321. You can see from the blip how big a read it is Well over 800 pages. I have until 17th October but still challenging. There is one missing Autumn by Ali Smith, i’ve lent it to a friend.

Yorkshire keep their place in the top division after the first day today so we can relax. Back to the books now.
