EH39 - Bass Rock, East Lothian

just one shot from relaxin´ afternoon in North Berwick.

Was lately there, so I couldn ´t hike to hill over North Berwick. Next time, that was my mistake be so lately there ;)

Just testing a new compact to city walking, not taken a DSLR. There was a windy condition on the beach of North Berwick but clear sky.

The truth is that S100 has newest trio inside (sensor, optics and image processor) but user interface is the same.

Shame is that Canon still forgetting about better HDR and better PANORAMA function. But it´s not problem for me. Another bad news - battery life is the same worst like S95 (not improving so much - need more mAh). The afternoon´s cold wind was chilling the coastal air so after almost 100 shots I found the fact that second battery is necessary. But small things for me. S100 looks good like the pocket camera for night shots. Still 15 sec max only but F2.0 on wide 24mm. I will see how CMOS sensor/DIGIC5 processor draw the night pictures very soon.Pocket size is important factor here too. Don´t need second biggest camera for easy walking ;)
