The Great Ness Raft & Duck Race today, and here's the last raft (yellow submarine, powered with guitar shaped paddles!) crossing the finish line. Always a good fun event. No album of this year's event, as I was helping provide safety kayak cover for the folk on the rafts.

After the rafts have finished, it's time for the duck race, and we have to collect hundreds of the little yellow things after, they cross the line. They all have numbers on them, to match up with raffle tickets sold. The first three win prizes. My kayak was stuffed to the gunwales with them... so much so, that if I'd wanted to exit in a hurry, there might have been a problem! Spent ages emptying them all out. Though wouldn't be surprised if one or two were to appear at some later date.

Had to take a ancient, large kayak, as it was much easier on my back (sciatic nerve) issues.
