Hawthorn Shieldbug - Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale

Spotted this Hawthorn Shieldbug on a Borage leaf while gathering Borage flowers for my salad this morning.  It gets its name from feeding on Hawthorn trees (I have two in my garden) but is said to feed off any leaves during Winter!  Must be a signal that Winter is on its way:)  Some nice pics here.
