Grandson on the zip wire.

He's been staying with me for the weekend. Yesterday's trip to the playground was exhausting......for me. He spent most of the time chasing round "play" fighting (the distinction was minimal!) with some older boys. I wonder if the park designers realised what they were doing when they planted pampas grass - the fronds are excellent weapons (and quite sharp). 

Today he was better behaved. We did football, the park, the sandpit on the sea-front, cheese-scone baking and after lunch planting in his garden, and watching Brian Cox in Wonders of the Solar System.
