Fall Colors

Dear Diary,

I have only been gone a week but things are really changing around here now.  The slow transformation of summer green to the reds, yellows and oranges of autumn has begun although autumn is the furthest thing from my mind.  It was nearly 90F yesterday and today is supposed to be nearly that warm.  Nature is sending us mixed messages!

I have the usual unpacking and restocking to do today.  Emerson will have one more day of holiday camp so I can resettle before reclaiming my little boy.  I miss him like crazy but he loves his Auntie Rebecca and Uncle Brad so he is fine.

I will give Philly and friends double seed servings today to make up for my absence this week.  The garden is really going by now.  It will be time to start the cut back on Wednesday when Matt comes.  The seasons march on...
