The morning after the day before

Thank you so so much for all your comments and stars yesterday.. When we got back from our meal out I found my blip was in spotlight.. Felt like winning the lottery... great fun.. my biggest fear doing that was that I would leave out some people and bikerbear threatened to throw herself off a high building for being omitted (all amended now I hope) !!! Aaarghhh ......

And meet Huw our local brocante man... not sure of the literal translation for brocante .. might be junk but I don't want to offend Huw after all we bought a beautiful grandfather clock from him some years ago... but not quite antiques... anyway Huw Thomas (guess where he comes from!) is a landmark here.. and is at his shop come rain or shine.. He was also featured in a fascinating if rather shocking book entitled Another Country by Rip Hopkins about the Brits in this part of France.. not sure if it would encourage or discourage you to be here... I rather think the latter...
