Alternative Transport

It was Neighborhood Block Party Day all over the city, and our immediate neighbors gathered by the creek around the corner for a laid-back few hours of visiting and sharing food. The street was blocked off so the kids ran wild on their bikes, and there were lots of games to play while the grownups barbecued sausages, burgers and kebabs. This fellow rode over on his pedal bike with a bubble machine on the back. Although some quirk of the camera makes this look like two people are pedaling, there is definitely only one guy hauling two carts of people around. I like the shadows and the color from the chalk drawing in the street, and, yes, even the strange double exposure.
