Big Red ...

... the last dune at the eastern end of the Simpson Desert QAA Line.
We drove out from the desert after 2 nights camping there, firstly on the K1 Line (having come up the Warburton Track) and then at Eyre Creek. Fun & enjoyable? Certainly! But arriving at the 2nd campsite in 43°C heat was a big ask. Australia seems to be in the grip of an early heat wave.
This blip is one day late, and I must have about 4 more to backblip. Am muddled about which days!
We're now in Boulia, north of Birdsville, heading towards the Gulf of Carpentaria.
