Another day in Liverpool

We had another excellent day in Liverpool.

We started with a ride on the Liverpool Eye, conveniently situated beside our hotel. We could say for miles. The wheel did four complete revolutions too.

There were quite a few cyclists around the dock area, and then we saw hoarders of them. There was a cycling event on, encouraging children and adults to ride. The atmosphere was great.

Not far from the hub of the event, we met the Fab Four. Here is Julie, dwarfed by the statues.

The day included a visit to the Museum of Liverpool, to Tate Liverpool to see a Roy Lichtnstein's work, the 1940s house and the Maritime Museum. We had a old walk by the Mersey too.

I managed a ride on the carousel, much to the amusement of passersby. I was the only person on the ride!

Our journey home was on noisy, crowded trains and it is a relief to be home again.
