Arley Wood, Adlington

Sunday 24th September 2017 (1856)

Our Harvest Festival in church this morning. 

After grabbing a sandwich, Huddsbird and I set off to plan the next parish walk. It was a good job we did as there was a certain amount of back tracking and a whole section that I will be omitting. I wasn't happy when we crossed through a field of cows and the mud was also excessive, that bit has now gone! 

Physivic enjoyed the ride and had a few adventures. Huddsbird suggested he could abseil off this bridge but I don't think he was keen! 

Back home we prepared dinner, then it was time for Huddsbird to travel back across the Pennines.
