Taking a Break

Mrs F and I headed home via the new Queensferry Crossing today but stopped off at the North side to get a photograph of the finished bridge.  There is still a little scaffolding on it but I guess that will be cleared in a few weeks.

For today’s blip I decided to go with this shot of the old bridge getting a well-earned bit of TLC.  With all the traffic on the new bridge the workers are doing loads of repair work on the old one before opening it to buses, taxis and non-motorway vehicles.
