St Paul

As the sun dropped in the west the fortifications mellowed in the golden light as we climbed the steep slope up to the town of St Paul de Vence. Bemoaning not having my camera I took a quick iPhone shot before dinner.  Stunning here! 


This is the church L'Eglise de Collégiale of yesterday's wedding high on the hilltop. A Catholic church but the vicar was flown in from Malvern to perform the ceremony which was beautiful. Not easy to get up there in heels on the cobbled streets I would add!
