Less Grands Trans-Parents

Man Ray (1890-1976), an American visual artist who spent most of his working life in France, designed this silkscreened elliptical mirror in 1938. It is a play on words.

My image was captured in Aram, a modern furniture store in Covent Garden. Aram sells only genuine, authorised originals and showcases unique designs. It has a large exhibition space for designers to display their innovative furniture creations.

My extra is Brick Screen designed by Eileen Gray(1878-1976) in 1922-25.
The black lacquer version is cheaper than the white one. In black it is £34734 and the white lacquer is £38195. I would not have it in my house as the cats might use it as a scratching post. It is, however, a beautiful screen.
