Fu.....

...ngi! The day did not go according to plan. We were expecting M to come over at about 11.00 to collect a tool from J and then I was going to go to the tip and then get on with painting. However J's daughter rang and is coming back home so needed to be collected from Portsmouth which meant J would not be about. So far not a problem as I could hand relevant tool to M. Then a message saying he'd overslept and wouldn't be here till 12.00 - not too much of a problem as I could paint a bit later on. However the tip closes at 1.00 so that was out. 
He arrived at 12.20 and after tea and answering some questions I had about my lighting circuit it was somehow 3.00! Lack of enthusiasm set in for painting so i went for a walk instead. 
Luce had a good day though as M played with her and she got a good long walk this afternoon!! 
Oh well tomorrows another day to try to get things done.....!
