Fraser Flying

One of Fraser from last nights game, he played well for the under 14's but he was a revelation in his debut for the under 16's.  

We did not expect him to get a lot of ice time given his young age and size but the coaches rolled him in right from the off and he looked very impressive, despite having played a full game before this one.  Playing as a forward and not his usual defence he looked assured and confident on the puck and capped it after five minutes with the opening goal of the game, a great goal and the travelling support were on their feet and the roar was unreal.

I was so pleased for him but sadly the game was abandoned late int he first period when a deflected puck damaged a light and left the fitting hanging from the ceiling by only the power cord
