A Fungi Kind of Day

We were supposed to be showing off Keats at the Wings and Wheels show today, but given the welding hasn't been sorted (mainly due to the US work trip) and so he doesn't have an MOT, that had to be canned. But after 36 hours awake before last night's sleep, and travel through busy airports and being crammed into 3 different planes, what I needed was space, and plenty of it.

We headed to a spot where we know there's a wealth of fungi, but today it just seemed to have exploded. Which is a good thing given four Ceps made their way into the bag for cooking later on.

Cocktails in the garden with the chooks rootling about, and it feels like a good day before hitting the (Edinburgh) office for the first time in 3 weeks.
