Oswestry Community Games

Today Oswestry Community Games were held in Cae Glas Park, it's the third year that this event has taken place. It gives people chance to try a variety of sports that happen in the town for free. There was football, rugby, tennis, yoga, archery and many more plus music in the bandstand and "have a go drumming".

When we were bowling in the park on Friday, one of the park keepers asked us if we'd go and play bowls on the green today so that there were a few people that had an idea of how to play . 

F and I turned up and had a look round the park first but there were no adults taking part in anything and long queues of children so we didn't try anything out.

The bowling green was very crowded with children so we had to be careful to avoid hitting any of them! 

I'd planned on a blip from the Games but it was a bit difficult as I couldn't take photos of children that I didn't know for obvious reasons. I'm afraid that it's just a general shot of the park and the activities.
