16.6C. Windy yesterday and overnight. Dull and misty, then brighter in the afternoon. Light S/SSE breeze.
Grocery shopping.
Went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were a few seals on the rocks by the shore at Kiel with a scattering of tourists photo graphing them.
At Carskey we walked along to the far end and came back again along the path at the back of the beach with the last little bit back on the beach itself. Lots of little birds on the beach today, and along at the far end heaps of seaweed coming in on the waves after yesterday's winds and rougher water.
.
The Antrim coast was almost lost in the mist and low cloud.
There were no eggs on display at Little farm's roadside stand again.
Later Apothecary7 was painting.
BBC Radio 2 was accompanying the painting.
