My Side of the Mountain
Nothing smells like home like the bush on Mt Wellington.
The miserable weather from the day before (fit for nothing but watching AFL, even Salamanca Market closed down) had begun to ebb, revealing a tempting amount of snow on top of the mountain.
It was beginning to disappear by the time we had showered, sourced some gloves and beanies, and collected the cousins - but there was still enough left to make some rudimentary snowmen and throw a lot of snow balls (or in the case of Noggin, smartbombs).
Little C was the picture of joy. Here she is with Im (another reluctant mountaineer, who couldn't get enough when she did commit)
Baby E not so keen on the whole experience, especially the smartbomb that hit her full on the face.
Watch out Noggin, revenge will be ours one day!
