Woodland Ferns

A visit to Doune Castle today (featured in both Outlander and Monty Python and the Holy Grail) with a walk along the River Teith with my mum and sister.
On the way there we visited The Battle of Bannockburn, which wasn't at all what I was expecting. It's a new visitor centre with a 3D experience and a battle simulator, where each visitor chooses their tactic to add to a battle plan which leads to a different outcome each time.
