Tortoise speed

My Tortoise and Hare challenge medal arrived today. I was definitely tortoise speed as I plodded around. Next time I do a 60 minute challenge, I will have to see if I can beat it.

I did a fair bit of plodding today as we headed to the Library and back to do a homework project for Leo. He had to find and read a Vikings book as part of his project. Thank goodness for my phone as one of his schoolmates came in wanting to do the same thing and the Library only had one book! Not sure that the school has thought that homework project through. Might have been an idea to tell the local Library they were going to tell a class full of kids to go and find a library book on this topic so they could get more in! Anyway, with my phone I could snap away at the bits Leo wanted to work with and then pass on the book to his friend.

After that Leo spent the day at his mates house and mum and I had a plod around Tiverton. I bought a few more Christmas presents and managed to avoid a splurge in the wool shop - only because my finger is still a pain so that knitting and crocheting are not comfy at the mo.

It was a surprisingly sunny day which was an unexpected treat.
