Spring cleaning

On a day when Rae and I have been spring cleaning our rooms, I was delighted to spot this teeny spider doing the same to her web.

A little blossom petal had become caught in her web, and she was not at all happy about it. Being a spic and span little spider, she decided that it did not belong there, making her home all messy and showing the flies where not to land.

I watched her for a full 30 seconds, while she pushed and pulled at the petal until it dropped off the bottom and onto the ground below.

Note the wee fly catching a ride on the petal!

Off out with B tonight. Probably to the movies if we can find something we both want to watch.
