Sunset over the Turb Season

As the sun sets over the 2017 air display season, we had one last blast of barnstorming this afternoon with the Turb Team.

My fellow ground crew pal DB got a chance to do a full display practice flying through the hoop, flour bombing and balloon popping. He did an admiral job and it was difficult to spot the newbie in the formation.

Trust between the team members is vital, how many of your friends would you allow to fly towards you at 100 mph missing your head by six feet? At no stage did I have reason to worry and felt completely at ease holding the pole for this 2018 Turb Team Pilot. Well done DB, bring on winter training!
