Dancers

Hameenlinna which we have made our base, is the birthplace of two great people. One is my better half Kirsi. The other is the wonderful Finnish national composer Jean Sibelius. This year marks the 60th anniversary of his death and last night in the market square we were treated to a superb free outdoor happening featuring his music along with dancers, light shows, percussion artists and choirs. Brilliant night and just perfect for two people just arrived from Ireland.
Still no internet connection here in the apartment so for the time being commenting time is at a premium.
