Into the Blue
There's a freedom that seems to come from a wide open blue sky, a strong wind and a kite rising and falling above you.
For a period of time you must look up, you must ensure that the height is maintained, that your kite is not going to come crashing down on someone's head.
I wonder if we don't spend too much time looking down in life. Looking on our own eye level or below. Criticising our own traits and losing confidence in ourselves. Tangling our kite strings with others?
Perhaps we should be aiming higher, flying more freely, filling the big blue? If we looked up more it's amazing the things we could achieve.
