A joyous day
I decided to parkrun this morning, which is always a risky way to start a saturday because a non-PB run will usually result in a grumpy day. I always regret doing the parkrun because I find it too short and too fast but today I glided round (at least that's how it felt in my head). I took a massive 50 seconds off my PB and came 4th in my age category. I felt so proud of myself that I took myself off for an indulgent breakfast with my kindle for company. What a treat!
This afternoon I helped mum out at Graham and Julie's wedding in the stunning Hope Valley. I've never met Julie before but she is super sweet and her and Graham were both gorgeous and happy. The reception was held at their not-quite-built-yet house which made up for lack of running water with ridiculously stunning views over the Stiperstones. I think they are going to have the most beautiful house to start their life as Mr and Mrs Cutler in.
A curry and a beer to end the day. Joyous.
