on our way, back to the north, we went along Makkum because there was a slooprowing race, where the men of the L.A. BUMA also participated and they won!... At the left you see a angling rod with a frisian wooden shoe, later on the sluice keeper took it and swung it to the boat where people put their money in for passing the sluice...
