Uncollected

It seems that conkers don't have the appeal to children that they once had. These have fallen very close to two schools and remain uncollected.  As a small boy I would scour the neighbourhood looking for conkers and usually had to resort to throwing fallen branches into the tree to try to dislodge some.  This reminiscing must be the sign of advancing years!  Nevertheless, I still like to embrace change and must not assume that collecting conkers is necessarily more fun or more healthy than children using modern technology and chasing around in the fresh air today playing Pokemon Go.
