Bug - ering about!

I was going to go to town today, as they had some sort of street festival on, but as I seem to be out nearly every day, and the housework needed doing, I gritted my teeth, and knuckled down. I did piles of washing, and many other chores, too numerous and boring, to mention.  This afternoon,  we sat out the garden, with some fruit tea, and on the table I spied this little shield bug. Until I started blipping, I had never seen, or heard of them, and it's amazing what you can learn from fellow blippers. See my extra photo. 
Looking forward to the start of Strictly Come Dancing later, and then Black Lake. The dark nights do have some advantages.
