Afternoon Respite

We went to the valley today.
My brother was visiting with some friends so we had lunch with them then brought the cattle back yet again from the neighbour's. 
It wasn't hard. As soon as they saw the tractor and hay they headed to where they get fed.

The weather is unpleasant. The winds have returned and the temperature switched from winter to summer. 
Several places around the state had record September temperatures in the 40Cs. It was 33C at the farm.

As usual in the valley, the wind dropped in late afternoon and it was very pleasant.
