Ordination

I was one of the guests at the ordination of the new Bishop of Kobe. With a prime, front row seat I got to enjoy the action up close, which made up for not understanding most of the service.

Despite being lost in translation for most of the time it was a lovely service to celebrate a lovely man. It clearly meant so much to him and his family who were all in tears as he was dressed in his mitre and cope.
