Over the Border

Immunisations done ;-) and Passport in hand ;-) meant I was all set for a long day trip to Englandshire today to visit relatives.

An early..ish start saw us arrive in Mawdesley, Lancashire by 12.30 and just in time for some fantastic lunch of battered fish and chips including superb mushy peas at the Robin Hood Inn.

Lunch over it was then time to visit my wife's gran who is 91 years old and this blip is a photo of Ewan running around at the back of her house.

A visit then to a local farm attraction saw the kids get close to goats, pigs, roosters, chickens and guinea pigs before the long and stressful journey back north with two tired but very noisy kids in the back.
