Campdrafting

This morning I wandered over to the Muswellbrook show ground to see whether I could get a couple of decent shots of the camp drafting. I spent about an hour taking a few shots and could see the potential so I returned after lunch. I was happy with the results and now have 19 B & W keepers.

Was hot today but there was cloud cover. There was a lot of dust and a strong horsy smell. I enjoyed my time there and will go again tomorrow.

I have added a couple of other shots. Camp Drafting is difficult as a large number of competitors can't control the animals around the triangular course and are "whipped off" meaning when the judge cracks a whip the competitor stops the run.
