very busy today, friends round for dinner so cooking all day, hence a revisiting of the annual scabious, the old standby.
Seriously, they are a great plant, still flowering abundantly and smothered in hoverflies and butterflies, definitely on the list for next year.

Another bright and beautiful day, though a bit cooler.
