Tecla

Not very imaginative, I'm afraid. Another day, another adventure sailing ship, this time the Tecla from the Netherlands. Originally built for herring fishing, she was neglected for many years before being sold to Denmark for general cargo work. She returned to the Netherlands in the 1980s to be transformed to the beautiful vessel here. My extra is the Tecla on her way to Ullapool, but unfortunately, not under sail! This is probably the last Tall Ship we'll see in harbour this year.
