Update Tommy. Today we had our appointment with Dr. Yvonne van Zeeland from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht (NL).Tommy's hormonal issues are too big not to do something with it... he is troubling with this since February 2016 and it is getting way out of hand because of the fact that he holds his poop for way too long. Because of that he also now has an infection. Based on the morphology of the bacterie in his poop it is almost sure we are dealing with a enterococcus infection (bacteries organised in a chain). It is difficult to determine the bacterie. More research is needed and Yvonne isn't sure if what comes out of that gives a lot more information. So Tommy now got another med called Synulox 1, 25 ml which he needs twice per day too. Pfffff. Yvonne again trimmed his beaky a bit .. so now he looks more handsome than ever. LOL. Tommy needed anesthesia for putting the implant in his back. Ofcourse I had to wait in another room. They so love my boy because he is so very easy to handle and yes... I am proud of that. The effect of the implant will take 1 or 2 weeks. Coming Monday we will go to our vacation house on the beach in his bench so he will be in a totall different environment so that can only be positive!
