My boy Neil

My body clock is totally mixed up so I didn't actually go to bed till 6am this morning ( ridiculous I know ).  I did manage to get a good 7 hours sleep though and have been Ok today with the jet lag.  Just starting to feel weary now at 11pm.

I had intended having a day at home just relaxing but Neil got in touch and asked me if I wanted to go out for a meal.  Decided to make the effort and we met up at 4.30pm at The Metrocentre.  Weather has been rainy all day so this indoor shopping centre was the best place to head for.

We went to Ask Italian.  Neil had a huge calzone and I chose something a bit healthier - salmon with mixed grains and salad.  No pud for me --- I'm back counting syns.  After Neil went home I popped into M & S and bought a warm jacket - and some fruit.

My sister in law messaged me earlier - her daughter (my niece Sharon )  in Australia has gone into labour this evening.  Its her first baby.  So exciting.  I'm waiting for news.
