Still Blooming

I thought the roses had finished blooming after the cold wet weather we've had, but they've proved me wrong with new blooms on both roses on the arch.

To celebrate the Autumn Equinox, I made not one, but two apple crumbles today (see Extra).  We had some for tea and it was really delicious (she says not so modestly!)  One will go in the freezer or else we will eat it all too quickly:-)  I finally got round to using the apples from Dunkeld Community Orchard that my friend L. had given me before we went to Skye!
