Baking?

Mimi is in Sheffield tonight for GB trial. She announced a few weekends ago that she was feeling her skates tight!!!

The biggest hockey shop in the U.K. Is situated directly across the road from the rink and so this afternoon we descended in the search for new skates.

She knew what she wanted and I hoped that they would have her size and after having her feet scanned in 3D the best skate was the one she had been wanting although dad decided that we would go up the range to get more protection and a lighter boot.

Tried on, then fitted she seemed happy and then off they came and into the skate oven to be baked and heat moulded. Here she is as the skates cure hot and bothered having to sit still for 15 minutes a tall order for little miss fidget but she managed

Now we are sitting at the rink just relaxing waiting to register... a big night
