You Thought You'd Found a Friend...

What a beautiful day.

Up early (ish)... drove to our favourite city in the world, to see our favourite daughter in the world. If only it was as easy to drive to see our favourite Boy.

Toolibelle text us en route to check where we were, as she has turned into Party Central, and had to organise herself (try to remove the hangover) to receive us. She was delighted to find she had an hour or so.

She had tidied her room. Her idea of tidy is not mine, so while she went and made us a cup of tea, I finished off the "tidying". She was astonished when she came back. Amazing how picking clothes up off the floor makes a difference!

We took her to Ikea to get a couple of bits for her room and then we headed to Ocean Terminal where we had lunch... and a bimble (I've got it down to a fine art Kathy), round the shops. She was looking for a jumper - I was just amuzed to watch her dad present his idea of the "ideal" jumper, and watch the look on her face.

We took her back to her room, to pick some bits up, and then drove cross city to drop her at her friend's in the Centre.

Completely delightful day, made better by the fact that my wee Tooliebelle displayed complete and utter comfort and contentment at "home" in her place... and confidence in her plans for tomorrow!

Happy Days indeedy. And of Course, Daddy was delighted to get some time with his Baby.
