Flint Barn Steps & Cat Door

Flint stones are found all over Dorset they are particularly noticeable in worked farm ground. Many houses and barns were built using flints and bricks in layers.
Barns often had stone steps sometimes single rise others like this one had a double sided rise.
The interesting thing I hope you can see when bigger is the hole in the door put there for the farm cats so they can catch the mice and annoy the rats that would be living in the old store barns.
