This painting is to recall the outback Australian system of mail delivered on horseback.  "News from Home" is my oil painting showing a drover visualising his home, wife and baby as he reads a letter from her.  Lack of local food for stock forced stockmen to drive them along stock routes, grazing along the way, resulting in long absences from their homestead & family.
