ROSE

Spent some time in a primary classroom today - first time for over ten years.  It's wonderful to watch a skilled teacher at work. She was brilliant. I gave up primary teaching many moons ago - far too like work. 

Our young, handsome and incredibly fit builder was on our roof by 9:15 this morning and sorted the leak.  Skilled work - I could watch it all day. 

Summer does not seem to want to let go.  A gentle hour in the garden was pure bliss.
