... costume for a Roald Dahl themed dressing-up day at school. Son of Mine *is* Charlie Bucket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in case it's not obvious.

Take an old pair of school trousers that are too short. Hack and fray the hems. Find a shirt that's too small. Add a pair of handwarmers knitted by me and donated for said costume by Daughter of Mine (didn't she like them?). Find brown hat of mine that looks vaguely Charlie Bucket-ish. Google 'Golden Ticket' image and copy on to gold card two minutes before we're due to leave the house.

Grab camera for one quick snap for family archive. Cross fingers for it to be in focus. It wasn't.
